"Success with us": how Globalprodservice creates competitive technologies for the Belarusian agro-industrial complex
Sourсe: Журнал "Белорусское сельское хозяйство", выпуск №7 (291) 2026
The issue of import substitution and technological independence in the agro-industrial complex of Belarus is more acute than ever, especially in the field of feed production, where domestic producers are not just catching up with world standards, but are setting new guidelines in a number of areas. A striking example is the private enterprise Globalprodservice, which in 14 years has gone from an engineering company to a full-fledged manufacturer of high-tech lines of its own design. The result of this evolution was the victory in the prestigious republican competition "Leaders of Industry — 2026" with a diploma of the first degree in the Project of the Year group for a comprehensive production line of vitamin and herbal flour and granules, which became a signal to the market about the emergence of competitive technologies in Belarus that are not inferior to world analogues. On the eve of the launch of the country's largest project for the production of vitamin and herbal granules at the Yubileyny agricultural plant, we talked with Sergey Silchenko, director of Globalprodservice.
The conversation began with a question about the recent victory in the republican contest "Leaders of Industry — 2026". And it was no accident — the first degree diploma in the Project of the Year group was not just an award, but a natural result of the 14-year evolution of the company.
— We understood perfectly well that the Industry Leaders competition is not just an award ceremony, but a serious expert platform where real achievements of enterprises are evaluated. In 2026, the organizers expanded the format: 32 nominations were presented, grouped into four groups — "Enterprise of the Year", "Product of the Year", "Project of the Year" and a new group for this year, "Professional of the Year". In total, about 100 applications were received, 50 enterprises reached the finals, and in the Year of the Belarusian Woman, the best managers and specialists were singled out. We carefully studied all the criteria and decided to participate in the Project of the Year group, since it was there that initiatives that had already been implemented with measurable economic results were evaluated," notes Sergey Silchenko.
When choosing the nomination, the company was guided by an ambitious goal — to bring its most promising project to the broad public and professional agenda: a comprehensive line for the production of vitamin and herbal flour and granules. This project is a truly significant area for the country, which is the future of feed production. Sergey Silchenko said that the company has already gone from engineering solutions to its own serial production, certified the equipment, received approval by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated April 2, 2015 No. 146 "On financing the purchase of modern machinery and equipment" and delivered the first lines to Belarusian enterprises.
— Any industrial project has a long history, which includes analysis, design, construction of engineering infrastructure, search for financing and purchase of equipment. Realizing that this entire cycle takes years, we made a strategic decision: to use the competition as a platform from which we can loudly and authoritatively announce the emergence of our own competitive technology in Belarus. We didn't just want to talk about the line, but to convey to the heads of agricultural enterprises, industry experts and government agencies that we have a ready-made integrated solution that already works and makes a profit. Participation in the Industry Leaders competition has become the very catalyst that accelerates local decision-making. When a project receives a first degree diploma from the republican jury, it becomes a convincing argument for any doubting client. The result, as you know, exceeded our expectations: we were awarded the first degree diploma in our nomination. And this is not just a reward, but a confirmation of the correctness of our path. It is a signal to the market that the Belarusian manufacturer is capable of creating world—class technologies and a powerful impetus for the Globalprodservice team, which has invested not only knowledge but also soul into this project," said the director.
The evolution of competencies
— Starting from the very first stage, we consciously followed the path of aggregation, combining equipment from various manufacturers into a single technological chain and implementing it as an integrated solution for the client. This was our initial experience, which we accumulated with one goal in mind — to later apply this knowledge in the development of our own equipment, in the creation of design documentation and in the adjustment of integrated technology," explains Sergey Silchenko. — Working at the enterprises of the Pinsky district — JSC Parokhonskoye, JSC Pochapovo, the Nevel Branch of JSC Pinsky Meat Processing Plant — we saw the weaknesses of other people's solutions: where the equipment does not reach the performance, where it is inconvenient to maintain, where the stated characteristics differ from the real ones. And we fixed every such flaw, realizing that someday we would do it in our own way - better.
Sergey Silchenko spoke about the next, intermediate stage of his company's development, which has become a kind of bridge between engineering and full-fledged production. It was about the experience of implementing a hybrid project at JSC Belovezhsky in the Kamenetsky district, where part of the equipment purchased from third-party companies was combined with its own manufactured units. While assembling the line, Globalprodservice tested the design solutions of Belarusian engineers "in combat" and evaluated their work in conjunction with other people's units.
— We have received a certificate from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and have been approved by the Ministry of Industry to participate in the equipment supply program under Decree No. 146. Our lines have been agreed upon, and we have already managed to produce and supply our own production lines for two Belarusian enterprises. The first is JSC "Yubileyny Agrokombinat" in Orsha district: It has a standard size of up to 5 tons per hour. This is the largest project in Belarus for the production technology of vitamin and herbal granules. Right now, we are starting to install this equipment at the client's site, planning to launch the plant before the new year. The second company, SEC Svityazyanka-2003 in the Korelichsky district, received a line with a capacity of about 2.5 tons per hour, which is exactly two times less. Thus, we form an offer for different customers based on their needs and the volume of production of vegetable raw materials. For these requests, we are ready to implement projects of various standard sizes — from 1 to 5 tons per hour. For Belarus, more is probably not relevant yet.
Sergey Alexandrovich noted that the projects mentioned above allowed the company to adjust its approaches towards greater technological efficiency. In practice, this implies a more connected arrangement of equipment — when the units are located compactly and logically in relation to each other, a more convenient location for maintenance, and a more efficient solution in terms of energy consumption.
Competitive advantages: safety, automation and reliability
Sergey Alexandrovich described in detail the technological improvements incorporated in the Globalprodservice line: from metal reinforcement and special steel grades to spark extinguishing systems operating ahead of schedule, automatic lubrication of press granulators and full-fledged remote control of all processes from the operator's room.
—The experience of launching our partners' facilities has given us a unique opportunity to pay attention to those sides that are both competitive advantages and what the client actually expects and needs," explained Sergey Silchenko. — That's why we implemented these solutions, starting from the very foundation — from the materials. Take, for example, the thickness of the metal and the grade of steel, which is directly related to how long the equipment will be in operation. Where the technological process is aggressive, we have reinforced the equipment with thicker metal and special grades of steel. This provided an additional resource that is directly converted into savings for the customer — less often it is necessary to change parts, less often to stop production for repairs. Next is safety: the temperature in the drying drum at the entrance reaches 700 degrees. To eliminate the risk of fire, we have implemented a spark extinguishing system borrowed from our experience in the timber industry — we have implemented 5 integrated pellet plants in Belarus. Such a system works ahead of schedule, even at the stage of the spark, rather than extinguishing the flame. Our competitors do not have this, which is our unique advantage. The same applies to control systems: all operations are started from the operator's terminal — most manufacturers do not have such a solution. The employee who controls the operation of our equipment does not need to start each unit manually from the control cabinet — everything is controlled automatically with the possibility of remote access and archiving of the work history. On the one hand, this makes it possible to monitor all processes, see the condition of the equipment, its operation, and respond on time and accurately. In addition, transparency and control are provided by managers who always understand what is happening in production.
Next, Sergey Silchenko suggested "walking" through the heart of the line — a press granulator that forms a green pellet from a crushed loose state. The interlocutor pointed out that the key difference between Globalprodservice equipment is the automatic roller lubrication system. At a certain interval, the lubricant is supplied to the work area without human intervention, preventing wear and prolonging the life of the equipment. This allows you to eliminate the human factor from the process, dramatically reduce the number of downtime, reduce the number of maintenance personnel, and therefore reduce the cost of production.
Economics of projects
Behind every line from Globalprodservice, whether it is the production of vitamin and herbal granules or a complex for processing oilseeds, there are not only engineering solutions, but also the real economy of agricultural enterprises. Sergey Silchenko spoke quite definitely about whether these projects can be considered drivers for the entire agro-industrial complex.
— Our production lines are drivers of development not only for Globalprodservice, but also for the entire national economy as a whole. It may sound loud, but we are seeing real numbers and real effects. According to calculations that are confirmed by practice, it takes from two to three years for our projects to pay off, and this is true for both vitamin and herbal pellet production lines and oilseed processing lines. Why is it so fast? Take, for example, the processing of oilseeds. On the one hand, enterprises obtain protein in the form of meal or cake from the available vegetable raw materials — rapeseed, which they consume themselves. On the other hand, oil, which is a very liquid product today, is sold here and now, often for prepayment. And the more processing an enterprise can provide at the expense of its raw materials, the faster the payback of the project.
Sergey Alexandrovich also noted the hidden effect obtained from the technology of processing oilseeds by his company's equipment. We are talking about an extruded protected protein. It can be obtained if the line includes an extruder. Globalprodservice has been supporting this trend for several years in a row, because on the one hand, the extruder provides a product whose digestibility increases to 96-97%, and on the other hand, it ensures maximum oil yield. Another important aspect is the ability to process soybeans.
— Continuing the idea of food safety, we turn to the line of vitamin-herbal granules. The essence is the same here, but with a different emphasis: in this case, we do not separate components in the form of oil and cake from the feedstock, but preserve everything through freeze drying and removal of excess moisture — everything that has a particular type of raw material at the right stage of preparation. These are mainly alfalfa, but other types of legumes and cereals can also be used, including cereal-bean mixtures that provide the necessary amount of protein, sugars and amino acids," says Sergey Silchenko. — Our task is to preserve this quality, and we are doing it in our technology. The value is that the agricultural enterprise provides itself with high-quality protein, which is much lower in value than what can be bought on the market. And it is this difference in cost that suggests that the purchase of our equipment is economically justified. It is not difficult to grow a green mass in Belarus today. We also know how to obtain an enriched composition from raw materials. And now we have given enterprises an alternative to the standard version of the billet in the form of trenches or films. And this is a real contribution both to the country's food security and to the economic sustainability of farms.
A technology changing the approach to feed production
The technology offered by Globalprodservice is fundamentally different from traditional forage harvesting in trenches and film. Of course, we asked a question about how freeze-drying works and why the pellet becomes a strategic reserve for milk production.
"We have really given the market an alternative to the standard forage harvesting option — in trenches or in film,— says Sergey Silchenko. — We believe that it surpasses traditional methods. The processes of oxidation and natural fermentation that take place in the hayloft are inevitable even with the use of preservatives. As a result, the quality of the feed decreases during storage. Using freeze-drying technology with the removal of excess moisture, we ensure the preservation of fresh product, which at the right time gives the maximum effect for the enterprise. This is especially noticeable in two critical periods. The first is the spring period, when forage harvesting has not yet begun, and last year's stocks are already running out. The second is the hot period, when high ambient temperatures negatively affect the appetite and productivity of animals. We monitored the situation at the enterprises that use our pellets, and we saw a clear pattern: when using feed produced on our equipment, milk production does not decrease even in the most intense heat.
Why is a part always worse than the whole?
What happens when a customer, in an effort to save money, tries to assemble a line on his own by buying separate units from different suppliers?
— When a customer is not yet mature enough to purchase a complete solution and buys individual pieces of equipment, he inevitably makes mistakes. Their price can be very high. In the case of the vitamin and herbal granules line, it is impossible to simply take and install separate units," explains Sergey Alexandrovich. — This is exactly the case when the essence of technology is its complexity. It is necessary to burn the gas in order to obtain a coolant, which must be transferred to a drying drum, in which the raw materials supplied from the field must be dried. The raw materials must be crushed in a crusher to ensure the required fractional composition. Then - granulation, shaping the product. After granulating, the product comes out hot due to high friction, and it must be cooled to maintain integrity and quality, since a hot pellet is easily susceptible to injury - if it is not cooled, it will begin to crumble and break. And all this is provided internally by auxiliary transport that moves raw materials from one unit to another. Also, all processes are protected by a spark extinguishing system — it can be removed, but then there are serious fire risks. The recycling process is controlled from the control room for convenience and control. And for all this, materials for electrical and mechanical installation, connections are needed, that is, the line must be assembled into a complete set. Therefore, I can say absolutely definitely: it is not possible to remove, replace, or start with one thing without harming the technology - it is impossible. Therefore, when starting any project, the client should set himself the task of seeing not the execution of a separate operation, but the need to implement the project comprehensively and technologically. This is the only way to guarantee the quality of the product, avoid problems with implementation, and quality claims.
Implemented projects as a foundation of trust
Any words about the quality and reliability of the equipment remain only promises, as long as there are no real projects that can be seen, evaluated and analyzed their economics. That's why the conversation turned to practice. Sergey Silchenko told which farms have already been supplied with equipment by Globalprodservice.
— Speaking of the credit of trust, I must say that the company's participation in the implementation of one of the first projects, JSC Parokhonskoye, headed by Vladimir Fedorovich Khrolenko, played a key role here. Why was it so important? Because the head needed to assess the prospects of an innovative technology for Belarus, understand how it works, and then give the go-ahead for the launch. Moreover, the project was not fully implemented immediately — it was completed in two stages: first, one complex line, and then, a year later, the second one. That is, having seen the real effect that this line allowed to obtain, Vladimir Khrolenko became interested in the possibility of scaling up processing and production volume. This project was followed by others. : JSC Pochapovo, Nevel Branch of JSC Pinsky Meat Processing Plant, JSC Belovezhsky, SEC Svityazyanka-2003. And often clients made decisions not based on promotional offers, but only after deep immersion in technology, visiting neighbors with working equipment, and studying the economics of the process. Therefore, a successfully implemented project sells itself. At the same time, the company is constantly improving what has already been implemented, and customers can see this. The culmination of our achievements this year will be the complex that we are completing at the Jubilee agricultural plant. It has absorbed all the improvements accumulated since the implementation of the first line for the Parokhonskoye farm. By the way, farm managers are old friends, so it turns out that each other helps each other in our common and native agriculture.
Service as a key advantage
In continuation of the conversation about the implemented projects and the established quality control system, the topic of after-sales service was also touched upon.
— Service is a priority for Globalprodservice, — said Sergey Alexandrovich. — We have formed a separate department, which employs engineers who provide a full cycle of project support: from supervising the installation of lines to the start-up and commissioning of equipment and subsequent service support. This service team is ready to go to the facility at any time to solve any problems. But before we go anywhere, we always try to understand the situation remotely. The management system allows remote access to any workplace of the customer. We connect and do a quick analysis.: what happened, where is the failure. It often turns out that everything can be fixed in five minutes without leaving the office: by adjusting settings, removing errors in the control system or electrical components, or simply visualizing a problem that the client does not see. This quick response via remote access is the first thing we do. If departure is necessary, a team is sent. Besides, knowing the specifics of our technology, we always work ahead of schedule. Spare parts and consumables are always available in stock. We are ready to use them at any time to carry out customer service work. And here the key advantage of our own production is manifested. Due to the fact that we manufacture the equipment ourselves, our partners can be sure that the necessary part is always in stock. It will never "hang" at the border, its delivery and installation are guaranteed to take place without delay.
Financial instruments for clients
The conversation touched upon the topic of financial instruments, from government support under Decree No. 146 to commercial programs of Promagroleasing OJSC.
— The decision to purchase complex equipment is a serious step that requires not only financial resources, but also a certain maturity of thinking. Therefore, our task is not just to sell the equipment, but to help the client see the full picture: economic benefits, technological advantages, and long—term effects. Globalprodservice offers the client a full—fledged concept, where everything is planned — from the location of the line to the expected payback," explains Sergey Silchenko. — We show how the solution will fit into the existing production, what communications will be required, what personnel are needed, we literally "put on the table" the finished project so that the client makes a decision with all the information. And, most importantly, we don't just sell — we support at all stages, from concept to launch and service. This in itself is a powerful motivating factor: the client understands that he is not left alone with complex technology, he has a partner who takes responsibility for the result. But, of course, you won't get enough of persuasion alone. Therefore, Globalprodservice has created a system of financial instruments that help make projects affordable and comfortable for the client in terms of budget burden. Decree No. 146 is the number one among these tools. We have all the necessary documents to work on this program. The structure of Promagroleasing OJSC finances our clients for up to 7.5 years with an advance payment of up to 15%, where the payment rate is no more than 2.5%. This is indeed a very profitable and good toolkit that makes our projects accessible to a wide range of agricultural enterprises. In addition, we work with Promagroleasing on commercial terms, having developed an individual program for clients. The rate and conditions there are at the level of 10% in Belarusian rubles, while we can offer the client financing of our projects for up to 5 years. This gives the client the opportunity to choose the best option.
Responsibility as a success factor
The main resource of any enterprise is a team. The head of Globalprodservice highly appreciates the possibilities of his own.
— Describing our team, I can say that at the Industry Leaders competition we assessed its work as positive and highly effective. And these are not just words — this is the reality that we see every day. It is the team that works for the result. One person cannot ensure the achievement of goals in an enterprise. Therefore, for me, the team is the main factor and the main component of our victories. It develops and grows as the company grows and new challenges appear. The tasks that I set for the company in terms of development are the challenges. We are constantly moving forward, creating new types of products, developing them, bringing them to the market, facing a backlash against these products, and at each stage the team proves itself. If we talk about the team in one word, reflecting exactly the attitude to the matter, I will say: responsibility. It is this quality that is the core around which everything else is built. When we select personnel, we consider not only professional skills, but for me human qualities always come to the fore. It is very important that a person has an inner fire, a sparkle in his eyes that pushes him forward. And responsibility. These components must be connected. And professional qualities can always be tightened and developed. We don't have time to force people to work, and we shouldn't waste resources on it. People, being in their system, need to know what they need to do, want to do it, do it responsibly, and repeat this cycle all the time. And then the manager will not have to control and force, but will have to create conditions and give the person the opportunity to open up.
The main challenge for the head
In conclusion, we asked Sergey Alexandrovich to look back on the path he had traveled.: what was the most difficult thing for him as a leader, and what message would he like to convey through the victory to the team, partners and everyone who sees this award as a confirmation of Belarusian quality?
— One of the most important and at the same time the most difficult tasks for a manager is to create a team. Approaching the result that we have received — recognition of us, the diploma of the first degree in my nomination — I understand that this means that I have managed to form a team that was able to achieve results. The most difficult thing on this path was precisely this — to find people, gather them into one powerful, cohesive force and ensure the achievement of the results that you want to achieve. Because you may want to do a lot, you may have something in your head tomorrow in some place, holding something in your hands, but in fact it's not that simple. It is very important that the car is assembled, and then it will go. The work of building and forming a team is what has been the most difficult for me, and what continues to be the focus of my attention every day. And my message is simple — our motto, which is spelled out in the logo, is "Success with us." There is a double meaning in this phrase, and I want to decipher it. On the one hand, this is for ourselves, for the inner working society: success does not leave us, it follows us, because we work responsibly, professionally and with full dedication. It's about our inner confidence and moving forward. On the other hand, it is a message to customers, partners, and those who choose us. They need to understand that their success is with us. Inevitably. Because we offer not just equipment, but a comprehensive solution that guarantees the result. Because we accompany the client at all stages, we are responsible for every detail and for every delivered line. This is the result, the promise, and the philosophy of our company. This is what we bring to every project, to every client, and to every achievement.
