A buffer storage device is a device designed for temporary storage of fuel pellets during their transfer, processing or movement between different processes, preventing losses, delays and reduced productivity. Buffer drives are usually used in high-load lines, where it is necessary to ensure stability and efficiency, regardless of packaging.

The finished product hopper consists of a silo (hopper), a support frame and an unloading mechanism (optional). The design is made with a 3-fold margin of safety. Viewing windows and places for the installation of rotary sensors are provided.
The drawing shows a bunker of finished products with a useful volume of 12 m (9.6 tons).
