Chain conveyors are designed for transporting grain, mealy products, feed and other bulk materials.
Characteristic
- The conveyor consists of a drive, intermediate and tension sections. All the main parts are made of carbon steel, the chain guides are lined with anti-friction plastic, which reduces noise and reduces energy consumption by reducing friction.
- The conveyor is equipped with overflow protection. The tensioning section has a screw tensioning device and is also equipped with a chain break sensor. The standard intermediate sections are 3 meters long. The intake pipes can be placed anywhere in the lid. The exhaust pipes can be placed anywhere on the bottom.
- The conveyor is equipped with a drive, which can be installed in the right or left version, has a fully enclosed rectangular cross-section structure.
- The traction element consists of a wear-resistant plate chain with scrapers welded to it, on which anti-friction plastic pads are bolted. The special shape of the scrapers ensures the removal of the accumulation of drifts in the drive section. Anti-friction plastic pads mounted on chain scrapers save up to 6% of energy, produce less noise during operation, are antistatic and easy to replace.
- Conveyors are installed horizontally or with an inclination up to 15°, for large slopes up to 60°, several special scraper designs are used.

The principle of operation
Chain conveyors operate on the principle of transmitting movement from one chain link to another. The chain links are connected to each other and form a continuous line that moves forward. When one chain link begins to move, it transfers the movement to the next link, and so on along the entire length of the conveyor. This ensures continuous movement of materials or products along the conveyor.
