Locks are designed to connect (join) conveyor and conveyor belts and ensure its strength and durability, preventing its rupture and damage. They are used when it is necessary to make quick repairs, as well as when it is not possible to make the connection in another way.

Characteristic

A cut or tear in a conveyor belt should not be ignored. The damage grows from the tension of the line and sooner or later leads to the web coming off and the conveyor completely stopping. As a temporary measure to eliminate the defect, connecting locks are used for detachable and permanent type tapes.

• Locks used for joining sheets differ in the method of installation, purpose and type of conveyor; they can be mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and are designed to work with various materials and operating conditions.
• Locks are a durable mechanical connector for all types of production, installed on tapes with a thickness of 6mm to 12mm.
