The coarse filtration line is necessary to remove larger particles that appear in the oil composition during the extraction process (seed kernels) before further processing. The line includes fuso traps and plate filters. It usually consists of separators, centrifuges and coarse filters. Coarse filtration improves the quality of the oil and increases its shelf life, as well as reduces the cost of further processing.
