The principle of operation
- The cooling product enters the auger, through the loading nozzle and then moves to the drum. In the drum, it falls on the inclined blades, which pick up and pour the product.
- The cooler is installed at an angle of 5 ° to the horizon, this allows the product to move along the axis of the drum to the outlet tray, and from the tray to the transport system of the workshop.
- During the pouring process, the product is blown through with air using a fan, draws air through the drum, creating an air flow through the raw material, which is poured into the drum. There is a thermal exchange between the cold air and the hot extrudate. The intensity of the purge is regulated by means of a gate and a locking screw.
- Small parts of the product are carried away with the air and enter the cyclone through a plastic sleeve, where they settle. As the cyclone fills, the cooled product is discharged by means of an exhaust valve or sluice gate to the transport system of the workshop or into a bag that is fixed to the outlet pipe.
