The principle of operation
- The raw material is fed into the hopper of the press, and then lowered into the loading unit.
- The screw shaft moves the raw material into the spin unit. The diameter of the screw depressions increases, the free volume for raw materials decreases. In the direction of movement of the raw material, the inner diameter (diameter of the depressions) of the screws increases, and the pitch of the screw surface decreases. This leads to compression and grinding of the raw materials. Bushings are installed on the screw shaft, which create excessive pressure in the working chamber, heat up the mass and lead to oil extraction.
- The oil flows into the collection chamber created by the elements of the oil press frame, and then through the nozzle at the bottom of the press it is discharged into the workshop oil collection system.
- The cake continues to move along the pressing unit, and at the outlet it is crushed by an impeller and removed from the press into the conveyor for the cake.
