Filtration line
FILTRATION is the process of separating heterogeneous systems using filter plates that trap particles and allow liquid to pass through. The filtration rate depends on the viscosity (temperature) and the type of solid impurities.
The excellent quality of the cleaning lines allows the removal of all unnecessary mechanical impurities with minimal energy consumption, so that the purification of vegetable oil guarantees the best result.
Appointment
The filtration line is designed for the primary purification of vegetable oils.
The process is carried out using special production equipment, based on a vertical pressure plate filter, for high-quality separation of oils from various mechanical impurities. Technological lines for primary oil purification are designed and manufactured in accordance with production conditions and requirements. The filtration line can operate on a permanent basis, as well as variably, seasonally, and the filtration system can be turned off as necessary.
Raw materials and filtration products
Edible and technical vegetable oil (rapeseed, sunflower, soy, flax, cotton, corn). In addition to oils, other substances that are not aggressive to carbon steel can also be cleaned.
Composition of the filtration line
- Vertical pressure plate filter (Capacity from 3 to 165 tons per day);
- Capacity with a stirrer – 4m3 (2.2 kW);
- Drip separator
- Pump – 4 kW;
- Compressor unit in combination with dehumidifier and receiver (340 l.) – 15 kW – (up to 2000 l/min);
- Filtration line control cabinet with a set of electrical wires;
- Pipelines, cranes, strapping materials;
- Rotary blower;
- Metal frame for the filtration line.
Technology
TECHNOLOGICAL STAGES OF THE FILTERING PROCESS
- The vegetable oil obtained during pressing, after pressing, is fed into a STORAGE TANK with an oil collection AGITATOR, where it is constantly mixed so that the layer of filtered particles is washed evenly, as well as to eliminate the risk of clogging the outlet pipeline.
- For subsequent filtration, the PUMP supplies oil to a VERTICAL PRESSURE PLATE FILTER. Oil with impurities is filtered through steel plates and an alluvial layer obtained during oil circulation, impurities also ensure good filtration quality. The fact that the filter is filled is evidenced by the oil that appeared in the overflow inspection lamp. After filling the filter, the shut-off mechanism switches to the mode of alluvium of the filtered layer. When an alluvium of pure oil appears in the inspection lamp, the process switches to filtration into the storage tank of pure oil. When the pressure limit is reached or after a period of time, the filtration mode stops. The untreated oil from the filter cavity is drained into storage tanks with an agitator.
- The BLOWER SUPPLIES AIR compressed to 0.8 atm into the filter cavity to drain the remnants of unrefined oil and then dry the alluvial layer of the "cake" by means of a DROPLET SEPARATOR. During drying, oil is squeezed out of the alluvial layer.
- After drying, a fairly solid layer of sediment up to 2 cm thick is obtained, which easily moves away from the plates using a VIBRATING shaker. The pieces of the cake are removed through the bottom gate (the cake is used further as a cake) and the cycle starts again.
