The elevator bolt is used for attaching elevator buckets to elevator belts. Elevator bolts have a flat head with two spikes on the inside. This prevents the bolt from turning when the nut is tightened. The flat head of the bolt fits flush with the belt, which does not create additional resistance when the belt moves along the drum.

Elevator washers are used to regulate the flow of material on elevators.  Elevator washers help control the speed of movement of material on the elevator belt, and also prevent clogging and damage to equipment.
