Globalprodservice: We offer very good conditions

— Sergey Alexandrovich, what path has the company traveled over a period of more than 10 years?

In 2012, we started almost from scratch, with the supply of spare parts for the bread products system. The need was very high, as the process of technical re-equipment was underway. Over time, we switched to equipment trading, then began to offer comprehensive solutions, supply technological lines. All this time, the company has been actively looking for and finding new partners, so today there is a fairly large portfolio of offers - several dozen suppliers around the world, including Russia, China, the USA, Western Europe and South American countries.

We gradually mastered new segments. The equipment, which is in demand in the flour and grain industry, has also found application in the agricultural sector. The company has accumulated unique experience in modernizing production facilities and building new enterprises in the feed industry, processing oilseeds. The base of our clients began to expand, it included poultry farms, agricultural plants, agricultural enterprises. We have actively participated and are working on the modernization of distilleries. Currently, several large-scale projects for the construction of pellet plants are being implemented. One of them is; "Pripyatsky National Park".

To increase the sustainability of our business, we began to enter foreign markets. Today, the company has experience in implementing projects in Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries. The share of exports in our revenue is already at least 30%, and we expect it to grow.

Most of the time, the company has developed as an engineering company, offering customers technological solutions. A new milestone in the history of the enterprise was the opening of its own production. Since 2021, the production of equipment for processing oilseeds has been organized.

— In what price segment does Globalprodservice operate?

We are in different price segments in different directions. But if in general, then we have high-quality offers for every client in any field. We do not aim to promote extremely low-cost solutions, because a high-quality product costs money. But the price range for the equipment is quite wide: it's premium, medium, and above average.

Moreover, thanks to the accumulated experience, we can combine and combine various elements into a comprehensive solution. For example, it is known that the construction of a feed mill requires serious investments in equipment, it is quite complex and expensive as part of the plant. But there are individual units that can be offered at more affordable prices without loss of performance and quality. That is, we can not only implement a high-tech project, but also save the client's money. And this is very important now.

We also strive to filter for customers those offers for the supply of equipment that are available on the global market. For example, we are now working closely with China and already have experience in various areas. There you can find good solutions at a very reasonable cost. Many manufacturers are as technologically advanced as good European companies. Yes, it is not easy to negotiate with Chinese enterprises, but we are successfully carrying out this work and, thanks to this, we can provide customers with various product options worthy of their attention.

— Thanks to what competencies of employees does «Globalprodservice» have the opportunity to develop and solve their tasks?

Today the company has about 50 employees. We are able to solve all the tasks facing the company on our own. For example, there is a design team whose specialists develop technological and space-planning solutions for customer requests. As for the production line, our own design department is engaged in the development of new products. The staff of the production site is staffed by workers, operators of CNC machines. All operations, except for casting, are performed by ourselves. An engineering service has also been created, whose specialists are engaged in supervision, commissioning, and maintenance of all equipment that we sell.

— How do you manage to supply your customers with the necessary equipment in the difficult current conditions?

A year ago, we faced the fact that a number of supplier companies refused to work in the Belarusian market. But our other partners were interested in continuing cooperation, and we found a way out how to work with them. In March 2022, we established a company in the territory of a third country, through which the necessary technological equipment is supplied. First of all, this allowed us to fulfill all obligations under the concluded contracts, including pellet production and feed equipment. But today we fully fulfill all obligations to our customers.

Has the opening of our own production greatly facilitated this task?

In fact, there have been plans to organize production for a long time. But it was necessary to accumulate certain resources and develop competencies. Analyzing the demand in the market, we decided to take up equipment for processing oilseeds. This is the most effective and in-demand direction for most of our customers. Agricultural producers are interested in processing oilseeds, since the products produced, primarily rapeseed oil, are in great demand. Shipments of these products are growing to both Europe and China.

In 2021, we started moving towards our own production. Globalprodservice has become a resident of the Minsk City Technopark, providing confirmation that our equipment is innovative. We started with the manufacture of spare parts necessary for the maintenance of previously supplied equipment.

But in 2022, the situation changed dramatically. We are faced with the problem of providing customers with equipment under concluded contracts, with the problem of supplying spare parts. This prompted us to start manufacturing technological equipment at our own production site. And today our portfolio includes an impressive list of completed projects on the organization of processing of oilseeds, including in Belarus. So, production has been launched in the Grodno region, and another one is on the way. We also supply our equipment for export. Our team had to work very hard to get such results in a short time.

The equipment you offer costs a lot of money. What financing tools are available to the company's clients today?

—Globalprodservice company received a license from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus for leasing operations back in 2018. But in order not to divert our own funds, we mostly resort to two other solutions. This is a commercial lease for imported equipment. As for our own products, we have the opportunity, in accordance with Decree No. 146, to supply our products on the territory of the republic on favorable terms - this is leasing at 2% per annum for seven and a half years (an advance payment of about 15% on average). These are very good conditions that support the agricultural producer.

— What achievements of the company do you, as a leader, consider the most serious?

The fact that we remain in the market and continue to move forward is already a success. Every year we grow by at least 30%. The company always remains profitable, investing the earned funds in further development.

If we talk about individual areas, we are the only Belarusian company that has built so many pellet plants in the country. In 2022-2023, four major projects have already been implemented. Our capabilities allow us to implement very complex technological projects in the feed industry by supplying imported technological equipment. And we are the only producer in Belarus and one of two or three in the territory of the Customs Union who has taken up the direction of processing oilseeds. This is both a huge opportunity and a high responsibility.
