A feed mill for the Vitebsk broiler poultry farm, a pellet production workshop in the Pripyatsky National Park, a rapeseed processing workshop of the Golshany agricultural Enterprise and more than 200 successfully implemented projects on the account of a private enterprise Globalprodservice.

The company has been known for more than ten years as a reliable supplier of equipment and components for the agro- and timber industry. In 2021, the company became a resident of the Minsk City Technopark, and in the spring of 2022 it launched its own production of technological lines for processing oilseeds.

What does Globalprodservice offer the market today in an interview with the head of the company, Sergey Alexandrovich Silchenko.

From that moment on, the company became closer to launching its own production. We set ourselves such a goal a long time ago, but we were moving towards it with measured, well-calibrated steps. Having worked for ten years on the market, being official dealers and reliable partners of Western European, Russian and Ukrainian brands, we planned to start with the manufacture of spare parts for related equipment of competitors. We formed a design department, an engineering service, created a production site, and purchased machine tools.

However, the situation of sanctions restrictions in 2022 and the completely cut-off Ukrainian market tested our strength and gave us acceleration. We can't say that we were ready for this, but our achievements helped us get our bearings and get on the rails.

First of all, we dealt with the topic of processing oilseeds. If earlier we supplied equipment from several Ukrainian manufacturers and assembled it as a designer, offering the customer a ready-made integrated solution, today Globalprodservice is the first and only manufacturer of technological lines for processing oilseeds in Belarus, providing import substitution. Moreover, our equipment is an export-oriented product in demand in the markets of Russia and Kazakhstan. The only question is to increase production volumes.

How is production organized today?

Production facilities are located at the site of the Minsk City Technopark at Partizansky Prospekt, 8. We have 1000 sq. m., by the end of the year it is planned to introduce a new building of the technopark, in which another 1200 sq. m. is reserved for us. There are two production sites: procurement, where cutting, rolling, sawing, welding, and a machining area equipped with drilling, turning, and grinding machines. We are waiting for the delivery of a special furnace for quenching products, several more CNC turning and milling machines. Here is our task – maximum equipment of production to ensure almost one hundred percent localization. This will allow you to fully control the process and quality, reduce cost, and save time.

The launch of the production site took place in March 2022, and by the end of the year, the rapeseed processing workshop at the Golshany agricultural enterprise in the Grodno region began operating. Today, we are mass-producing equipment for technological lines for processing oilseeds, the key components of which are extruders and hot and cold pressed oil presses. Our company supplies a full cycle of equipment with a capacity of 12 to 150 tons per day or more from the stage of acceptance and preparation of raw materials to processing and storage of finished products: reception, cleaning, preheating, pressing, extrusion, 2nd stage of pressing, cooling, filtration, optimal solutions for the storage of cake and oil. Upon request, we complete the lines with modern control systems that control the processes and record all production indicators.

In addition to the main components, we manufacture a wide range of spare parts. Not only for your own equipment. We are ready to provide our customers with components for any type of production lines, including foreign production. We have all the competencies and resources to do this. It is obvious that the equipment market is growing and it needs to be serviced and supplied with spare parts, especially at this difficult time.

– What is the market capacity of equipment for processing oilseeds?

Today, the processing of oilseeds is one of the most relevant areas for investing in agriculture. About 8-10 projects in this segment are implemented annually in the country. Among the customers are agro-combines, poultry farms, and enterprises producing crop products. Due to the agro-climatic conditions, rapeseed cultivation in Belarus remains a priority. It is a valuable oilseed and forage crop, a source of high-quality vegetable oil and feed protein. Rapeseed oil is in high demand on the international market.

By the way, rapeseed production in the country is constantly growing, so in 2022 a record harvest of 930 thousand tons of oilseeds in bunker weight was harvested, and in the coming years the task is to reach one million tons. Therefore, the topic of processing oilseeds is progressive, it is developing, the number of land areas for rapeseed, both in Belarus and in Russia, is regularly increasing. In addition to rapeseed, soybeans, sunflowers, flax and other oilseeds are also processed.

As a domestic manufacturer of equipment, it is primarily important for us to ensure our own market. Thus, a program of financing on preferential terms – leasing is in effect for Belarusian agricultural enterprises as part of the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated April 2, 2015 No. 146 «On financing the purchase of modern machinery and equipment». This is 2% per annum in Belarusian rubles, an advance payment of 15% with a lease term of 7.5 years. And since the topic is really unprofitable, and rapeseed; The culture is high-margin, we help our clients get added value by strengthening their financial position.

Tell us about your plans for the future. Are you planning to produce equipment for other branches of the agro-industrial complex?

– At the moment we are focused on technological lines for processing oilseeds, there is another direction for the future, which is too early to talk about. At the same time, we continue to supply imported equipment for the feed, milling and cereal industries, for the production of premixes, grass flour, wood waste processing and feed extrusion.

At the moment, there are two projects in the works to launch pellet production. For example, in the Pripyatsky National Park, we recently commissioned a new pellet plant. We are preparing to create a large feed mill for the Vitebsk broiler poultry farm.

We are constantly growing, both in the number of completed projects, there are already more than 200, and in our competencies. The team is also increasing, today we have more than 50 people, and we are strengthening not only the production line, but also the sales sphere. We are preparing to actively work with the markets of the EAEU Customs Union, and we consider Russia as a priority.

– How do you assess the prospects for the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex and the place of Globalprodservice in it?

I think the main factor in the successful development of the agro-industrial complex of the country is the introduction of modern technologies for the production of agricultural products. Such technologies can be implemented only on the basis of high-performance and reliable machine complexes that ensure high-quality execution of technological operations with minimal resource consumption. And the task of "Globalprodservice"; to provide enterprises with such complexes, to offer profitable financial instruments for their acquisition, to guarantee their maintenance, uninterrupted availability of spare parts.
